Mature Driver Review National Evaluation
Warwickshire Road Safety Partnership is taking part in a national evaluation of mature driver reviews which aim to improve road safety across the UK. We are looking for 50 drivers from aged 65+ to take part.
What is a mature driver review?
The IAM RoadSmart Mature Driver Review offers a trusted, impartial second opinion to help put your mind at rest.
One of our friendly, qualified experts will go out with you, in your own car on familiar roads local to you, at a time to suit you.
They will assess your driving style for one hour and watch out for any areas where your skills could do with sharpening.
It’s an informal session – you can even bring a friend along – and is aimed simply at helping you to be a better driver.
After the review, you will receive feedback on your skills and a written account of the session, which includes any suggestions for improvement with the opportunity to complete a booster session if needed.
What do I have to do as part of the Evaluation?
The assessment will be offered free, but as part of the process, you will be asked to complete a short, anonymised online questionnaire and driving quiz approximately two weeks before your Mature Driver Review.
Four weeks later, you will be asked to complete a second questionnaire and driving quiz. In the second questionnaire, you will also be asked if you would like to participate in a focus group discussion on how useful you found the assessment but there will be no obligation to do so
To be part of the national evaluation, please email your name and contact details to admin@pacts.org.uk
