Memorial for Road Traffic Victims in Warwickshire

As a county, we are committed to ensuring that we pay tribute to those individuals whose lives have been lost or injured on our roads. Warwickshire Road Safety Partnership has commissioned a permanent memorial for all.

The permanent memorial is situated at Hartshill Hayes Country Park as part of their commemorative woodland.

The memorial can be accessed by walking behind the building in the main car park towards the children’s play area. Then continue along the path taking the left fork up into the open area, the memorial is situated on the right of the path as you reach the highest point. (What 3 words:///highlight.canoe.test)

It is hoped the memorial, the first of its kind in the county, will offer a peaceful location for people to be able to gather to pay tribute to family members, friends, or colleagues whose lives have been affected by a road traffic collision in a safe environment.

As Hartshill Hayes is not a memorial arboretum, sadly we are notable to accept floral or other tributes (like artifacts and candles) to be laid around the base of memorial. However, we are offering the opportunity to leave a tribute on our website.

If you wished to use this location as a place to scatter the ashes of your loved one, please contact us so that the Site Ranger can discuss this with you in more detail.
