National Strategies and Reports

The Department for Transport (DfT) refreshed their road safety statement in 2019 and produced a 2-year action plan to address road safety issues throughout the lifetime of roads users, from babies to the elderly. The reports focus on four vulnerable road users – young road users, rural road users, motorcyclists and older road users.

The partnership also uses the latest research and statistics from professional bodies such as The Road Safety Trust, Road Safety GB and Parliamentary Advisory Council for Transport Safety (PACTS.)
