Safe Vehicles
Overview
Car manufactures have improved safety features in all main stream vehicles as standard since the 1990’s. Driver’s and Passenger’s air bags, side and rear air bags, crumple zones on vehicles help to maintain the integrity of the passenger compartment in the event of a collision in order to protect the occupants.
Although vehicle technology has improved over the years, it is the responsibility of the driver and/or registered keeper to ensure the vehicle remains road legal and safe. Active safety features, such as lane keep assist, are now able to even prevent collision but only if used and maintained correctly.
