Police intercept drivers on M42 in multi-agency road safety operation

In a multi-agency road safety operation with Staffordshire Police we intercepted and checked 22 drivers and vehicles were safe and legal as they travelled through the region on the M42 Warwickshire and Staffordshire border.

72 arrested for drink or drug driving in December

We arrested 64 people for drink driving related offences in December. We arrested a further eight after positive drug wipe tests.

Suspended sentence for dangerous driver

A 37 year old man from Rugby was sentenced to 27 weeks imprisonment suspended for two years at Warwick Crown Court on 22 January 2025 for dangerous driving and possession of Cannabis.
