This 43 year old drink driver from Napton, Warwickshire was spotted by a National Highways officer whilst patrolling the M6 southbound near Junction 3A Corley just before 4am on 29 January this year.
Most people don’t like drink and drug drivers as they know they increase the dangers to others on the roads. These concerns are real as each year, on average, 1,899 people are killed or seriously injured as a result of drink or drug driving. In Warwickshire, drink and drug driving are factors in 30 deaths and serious injuries on our roads every year.
16 drivers who chose to continue speeding despite already accumulating points on their licence were banned from driving for 6 months from Tuesday 15 July when they appeared at Leamington Magistrates Court.
