This may seem obvious to the majority of good drivers who are law abiding, courteous and stop as instructed. However, shockingly not every driver puts the safety of children on our roads above their own needs.

Police have released footage of some of the most dangerous driving behaviours that can be committed by drivers, known as the ‘fatal 4’.

Warwickshire Road Safety Partnership has teamed up with garages to hold free open evenings across the county with the aim of breaking down the barriers that prevent some drivers from using garages when services and repairs are required on their vehicles.

Stratford-on-Avon District Council’s CCTV team has assisted Warwickshire Police in stopping over ninety-one suspected drink and drug drivers leading to arrest and prosecution from April 2023 to May 2024.

Warwickshire Police is warning those who receive speeding tickets to deal with them honestly or face the consequences after a 25 year old woman from Slough attempted to avoid two speeding tickets from fixed cameras by paying someone to provide false and misleading information about who was driving.

Warwickshire Police officers and PCSO’s from Kenilworth and Rural East SNT educated five motorists and interacted with numerous cyclists during Operation ‘Close Pass’ on Friday 14 June 2024 aimed at improving the safety of the many cyclists using the roads.
