During just one week officers issued 16 Traffic Offence Reports (TORs) to drivers for using a handheld mobile phone whilst driving and 2 TOR’s for driving whilst not being in proper control of their vehicle. Warwickshire Police Roads Policing Officers (RPO) and Special Constables have taken part in two road safety enforcement operations supported by the DVSA with the aim of making Warwickshire’s roads safer for everyone.

As well as refreshing and increasing their skills around Road Traffic legislation, fatal four offences and the Trucam II speed detection devices, each officer took part in two practical training days to consolidate their skills in weighing vehicles and construction and use offences

Police have seized three off road scramblers and reported two males for careless driving, riding with no insurance and no driving licence following a preplanned operation.
