Warwickshire Police has appointed a new Road Safety Officer to support Community Speed Watch (CSW) after seeing significant growth in this popular and effective road safety initiative

Representatives from Warwickshire’s Fire and Rescue Prevention Team and Warwickshire County Council Road Safety Education came together on Wednesday the 27th of September at Bedworth Fire Station to gain expert advice about Tyre checks.

The families of people killed or seriously injured on Warwickshire’s roads will be given high quality support from Brake, the road safety charity, as part of a new service commissioned by the county’s Police and Crime Commissioner, Philip Seccombe.

Ten per cent of drivers passed a horse and rider either too fast or too close is the result of an Operation Close Pass for horses that took place on Thursday 21 September 2023 on Smeaton Lane in Brinklow.
